Motif Scan

Enter a protein ID and select the motifs you want to scan it for. There are currently 63 motifs available.

Search SwissProt/Trembl for entry name
Search GenPept for entry name
Search Ensembl for entry name

1. Enter Protein ID or Accession Number:
For databases that allow multiple accession numbers for the same entry, use the primary accession number. For Swiss-Prot entries with multiple accession numbers, it is advisable to use the protein ID (e.g., "RB_RAT") instead.

Look for all motifs
Look only for motifs and groups selected below
      Individual Motifs
     
      Motif Groups       View group definitions
     

4. Choose stringency level:
(High = more selective, Low = more sensitive)


5. Show predicted domains in sequence

6. Launch the scan!
